We spent the day up on top of Salt Pond Mountain at Mountain Lake. I had a chance to speak with Jessica Coker of the Mountain Lake Conservancy who spoke a little about the history of the lake.
Later in the day, Henry Wilbur, naturalist extraordinaire who has spent several decades of summers at the Mountain Lake Biological Station, took us through a patch of stream valley below the lake. Our friends Tim and Ginger and baby Samuel came along too.
